We support you with tailor-made, pragmatic solutions for sustainability and climate action in your company

From the right long-term sustainability and climate strategy (the “big picture” perspective) through to hands-on implementation in day-to-day sustainability management (the “ground-level” perspective), we support you in a pragmatic and competent way. We also advise on specialist topics based on solid experience and expertise.

Effective strategy consulting

“Do the right things!”

We advise you in line with your company’s specific situation, particularly SMEs. Through interactive workshop(s), we assess your current status. We benchmark this against legal and societal requirements (what must/should be done?), as well as industry practices and sustainability standards (what are others doing?).

On this basis, we work with you in a competent and pragmatic way to define a realistic “Where do we want to go?”:

  • Sustainability strategy, sustainability goals, ESG strategy
  • Climate strategy or net-zero strategy
  • Sustainability vision, sustainability policy

We prepare the results in a clear and decision-ready format for the Board of Directors. Together with you, we design a realistic roadmap showing how the strategy can be implemented and how the defined targets can actually be achieved.

Scope 3

Expert advisory on carbon insetting Scope 3

go-climate advises companies efficiently on carbon insetting. Insetting refers to carbon emission reductions within the value chain (Scope 3 according to the GHG Protocol), i.e. among employees, suppliers, or customers. The carbon savings are calculated using robust methodologies and are transparently documented and, where applicable, independently verified. These value-chain carbon reductions can then be accounted for in Scope 3. This is what insetting is about.

For insetting, external cooperation is particularly useful, as a company is typically only one of many customers or suppliers and therefore cooperation opportunities are limited. In addition, confidential business partnerships and non-disclosure agreements are often required. This enables a solution that works for all parties involved.

go-climate provides targeted and efficient support in the role of a technically experienced coordinator and carbon project manager.

Do you have any questions or concrete ideas regarding CO₂ insetting? Get in touch with us by email. We look forward to an initial exploratory online conversation.

Advisory services on due diligence systems for EUDR and the Swiss timber trade regulation

go-climate supports importers and processors of wood, cocoa, coffee, palm oil, soy, meat, rubber, and products derived from these commodities in the pragmatic, expert, and cost-efficient implementation of the new EU regulation EUDR (deforestation-free products).

The objective of the EUDR is to ensure that no products are imported, processed, or placed on the EU market that contribute to global deforestation. The EUDR applies across the entire value chain for such products within the EU—not only to importers.

The implementation phase has been extended to 2025. Companies are now required to operate a due diligence system, obtain compliance declarations from suppliers via the EU IT system, and generate and pass on corresponding declarations to customers. This represents a complex compliance and traceability process that must be newly established within organisations. go-climate supports you in this process and provides expert guidance throughout the ongoing EU implementation phase.

In Switzerland, we support you in ensuring cost-efficient compliance with the applicable timber legislation (Timber Declaration Ordinance, Swiss Timber Trade Ordinance). The objective is to prevent illegally harvested or traded timber from entering the Swiss market and to ensure transparent and accurate disclosure of timber origin and species to consumers. go-climate helps you establish and maintain a due diligence system tailored to the size and structure of your company, ensuring full compliance with legal requirements.

Do you have questions or obligations related to EUDR or Swiss timber regulations? Get in touch with us by email. We look forward to an initial exploratory online conversation.

Advisory services on EU CBAM

go-climate supports importers of iron, steel, aluminium, hydrogen, electricity, cement, and fertilisers in the competent and efficient implementation of the new EU climate regulation CBAM (Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism). The objective of CBAM is to align the carbon pricing of imported goods with that of products manufactured within the EU.

Since 2024, companies have been required to submit monitoring reports including carbon calculations for their imports. We support importers in meeting these complex compliance obligations in a cost-efficient manner. We also provide expert guidance throughout the ongoing EU implementation phase.

Through our content partnership with the Green-Tech startup envima, we combine deep sector experience with innovative capabilities. This enables us to provide optimal advisory services for the complex requirements of CBAM.
