Climate contributions for a more independent Switzerland
We offer regional climate contributions that support both climate action and Switzerland’s independence from imported oil and gas. These contributions are sourced from 19 regional SME projects that have invested in Swiss infrastructure for renewable heat generation from domestic energy sources.
The climate impact is calculated in accordance with Swiss CO2 legislation and certified under the internationally recognized ISO 14064 standard. Fossil oil and gas are replaced by renewable heat, keeping energy expenditures within Switzerland rather than flowing abroad and strengthening the Swiss economy.
All projects are independently validated and ex-post verified by an accredited validation and verification body.

Carbon removals from forests
Trees and forests are the oldest technology for removing and storing CO2 from the atmosphere. We offer carbon removals from a Swiss reforestation project, various regional sustainable forest management projects, and natural forest projects in Switzerland and Germany. These projects are certified under Swiss CO2 legislation or the internationally recognized ISO 14064 standard.
The projects are independently validated and ex-post verified by ISO-accredited/ FOEN-approved validation and verification bodies and technical experts.

Carbon removals from agricultural soils
Farmers do more than produce our food. By building soil organic carbon, they can remove CO₂ from the atmosphere, store it in agricultural soils, and improve soil fertility and resilience. We offer carbon removals from a German soil carbon project with a small Swiss component. The project is certified under the internationally recognized ISO 14064 standard.

Emission reductions through geothermal energy for a more independent Germany
We offer regional contributions to climate protection and to reducing Germany’s dependence on imported oil and gas. These contributions are generated through the geothermal project “Innovative Energy Pullach” near Munich. Calculations are carried out in accordance with Swiss CO2 legislation and certified under the internationally recognized ISO 14064 standard. Fossil oil and gas are replaced by renewable geothermal heat, ensuring that fuel costs no longer flow abroad but remain within the regional economy.
